The MY (Midlands Youth) Climbing Series is a fun event organised by the BMC Midlands Area Youth Coordinator and the climbing walls of the Midlands.  It is for young climbers born between 1993 and 2004 inclusive.

Back for a third year and this time bigger and better than ever, with no fewer than eight rounds of fun competition running all the way through from November to June at venues all the way from Milton Keynes to Nottingham.

Note that overall ranking for the series will be determined by the best 6 results from the 8 rounds, so don't worry if you miss a round or two, you're still in with a chance for glory!

Age categories this year will follow the same groupings as the BMC YCS, plus a Junior category:

Junior - those born in 1993 & 1994
Youth A - those born in 1995 & 1996
Youth B - those born in 1997 & 1998
Youth C - those born in 1999 & 2000
Youth D - those born in 2001 & 2002
Youth E - those born in 2003 & 2004

Round 1: Redpoint, Birmingham - 13th November 2011

Round 2: Wolf Mountain, Wolverhampton - 18th December 2011

Round 3: Alter Rock, Derby - 15th January 2012

Round 4: Nottingham Climbing Centre - 19th February 2012

Round 5: Creation, Birmingham - 11th March 2012

Round 6: Pinnacle Centre, Northampton - 22nd April 2012

Round 7: Big Rock, Milton Keynes - 13th May 2012

Round 8: - The Final: The Tower, Leicester - 10th June 2012

Entry cost is £9 per round

Entry forms and rules will also be available at each of the host climbing walls.

Registration for each event is done directly with the host climbing wall. This must be done one week prior to the event at the latest.

Entries may be accepted on the day of the event but that is at the discretion of the host climbing wall.
